Worcestershire members and supporters can look forward to a stream of top women’s international and regional fixtures at New Road next summer.
Tickets are already on sale for the second Women’s Metro Bank ODI between England and New Zealand on Saturday, June 29 by clicking here.
But in addition, Central Sparks will be in action at New Road on SIX occasions during the 2023 campaign.
Sparks will play four Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy (RHFT) matches and two Charlotte Edwards Cup (CEC) games on the ground.
It will give members and supporters the opportunity to see several of the successful Worcestershire Women’s Rapids team in action for Sparks.
Charis Pavely and Ellie Anderson recently signed professional and Pay As You Play contracts respectively with Sparks for 2024 while Phoebe Brett has become a member of the Sparks Academy for the first time.
All three have played their part in the Women’s Rapids lifting two trophies during the past two seasons.
The CEC meeting with Southern Vipers on June 16 will be part of a double header with Worcestershire Rapids taking on Northamptonshire Steelbacks in a Vitality Blast encounter on the same day.
