Callum Ferguson has become Worcestershire’s leading run-scorer in the 2019 Specsavers County Championship after his splendid century against Derbyshire at Kidderminster.
The Australian batsman hit his maiden ton in the competition at Chester Road to take his run tally to 397 at an average of nearly 40.
Not far behind, after his fine second innings knock of 62, is Ben Cox on 375 with opener Daryl Mitchell on 349.
On the bowling front, Charlie Morris’s four first innings wickets against Derbyshire has lifted him to the 30 mark for the campaign.
Worcestershire club captain Joe Leach has moved onto 23 for the season after his six wicket haul at Kidderminster.
He now needs only eight more scalps to reach the 300 mark in first class cricket during his career.
