It’s good luck from all at Worcestershire CCC to paceman Pat Brown who flies out to New Zealand tomorrow as part of the England squad for five T20Is.
Brown has earned his first international call-up as part of a 15 strong squad.
It will be England’s first white ball action since they won the ICC World Cup by beating New Zealand in a dramatic final at Lord’s this summer.
England will play two warm-up games on October 27 and 29 before the series gets underway on November 1 in Christchurch.
Lancashire duo, spinner Matt Parkinson and paceman Saqib Mahmood, and Somerset batsman Tom Banton – brother of Worcestershire Academy player Jacques Banton – are the other newcomers to the England squad.
Brown trained at the National Performance Centre at Loughborough ahead of a busy spell.
He will fly straight from New Zealand to Abu Dhabi for the T10 Series which will also involve Worcestershire team-mates Moeen Ali and Ross Whiteley.
