Worcestershire pace bowler Jack Home and his England Under-19s team-mates are heading for a final match decider in the Youth One Day International series in South Africa.
Home has picked up a wicket in each of the opening two games – his first at this level for England.
He bowled only one over as third change bowler in the opening game in Cape Town but it was sufficient for him to dismiss Raeeq Daniels, caught at backward point.
England dismissed their opponents for 87 and recorded a five wicket win but the result was reversed at the same venue in the second Youth International on Sunday.
England were bowled out for 161 and South Africa reached their target in 30.1 overs.
Home, who signed a three year contract with Worcestershire during the autumn, accounted for the wicket of Paul James (32) after this time being the sixth bowler used.
He finished with figures of 1-36 from 5.1 overs.
Now the two teams will meet again on Wednesday in the third game which is being staged at Stellenbosch.
They will then meet in two Youth Tests beginning on January 27 (Stellenbosch) and February 3 (Cape Town).
