This weekend sees the return of the Metro Bank One Day Cup to New Road, where there is far more to enjoy than just the eye-catching action on the pitch!
Families have the chance to enjoy two action-packed days of cricket, entertainment and fun this weekend, with junior tickets (ages 3–17) available for just £1.
The Club will welcome fans to New Road for two Metro Bank One Day Cup fixtures, with Worcestershire Rapids Men taking on Derbyshire Falcons on Friday 24 July before facing Hampshire on Sunday 26 July. Both matches start at 11am, with adult tickets priced at just £10 when booked in advance (£15 on the day).
Away from the action on the pitch, there’s plenty to keep the whole family entertained. Across the weekend, visitors can enjoy a pop-up cricket batting dome, immersive VR cricket headsets, player signing sessions after each match, the chance to meet cuddly club mascots Ali and Nile, and a variety of delicious street food, from pizza, nachos and wraps, to sizzling steaks.
Friday and Sunday will also feature fun circus skills and a bouncy castle, while Sunday will also include historic vehicles and characters from the Black Country Living Museum.
