Worcestershire County Cricket Club are delighted to announce the return of International Cricket to New Road in 2027.
Following the recent International Fixture Announcement, we have been confirmed as hosts for England Women’s exciting T20 International fixture against Bangladesh on Sunday 12 September, 2027.
The fixture will bring the curtain down on the series, after the sides have faced off at Northampton and Taunton in the opening two matches.
The series will form part of a bumper summer of England Women’s Cricket that is kickstarted in June and July with the iconic Women’s Ashes series, that sees England take on Australia in a one-off Test Match, three IT20’s and three ODI’s.
England Women drew the multi-format series last time Australia were on these shores three years ago and, after both teams met in the ICC Women’s IT20 World Cup final earlier this month, the rivalry will step up another level in the three-match women’s Vitality IT20 series.
This will mark the second instalment international cricket at New Road in consecutive years, with England Women set to face Ireland in the Third Metro Bank One Day International of a three-match series on Sunday 6th September this year.
