The waiting is finally over, with this morning marking the official release of the 2026 Worcestershire County Cricket Club Macron Teamwear, which is now available for supporters to purchase.
Brand new versions of the Men’s Rothesay County Championship, and both Men’s and Women’s Worcestershire Rapids Vitality Blast T20 and Metro Bank One Day Cup shirts all are available to be ordered from the Club’s online store.
In a landmark move by the Club, the start of a new era with official teamwear providers, Macron, also acknowledges the Italian manufacturer’s first venture into County Cricket.
The 2026 shirts, designed with the club’s official creative partners, BEARD, are inspired by the newly engineered “Art of the Game” creative direction, blending key themes from traditional, renaissance-based, Italian art, with more modern and contemporary concepts of street art.
Additionally, the full range of trainingwear and leisurewear is also available to order, with sustainability at the forefront of each design. Manufactured from Eco Gotex, a fabric made from 100% post-consumer recycled plastic, Macron’s endeavour to reduce waste and promote energy efficiency is prominent throughout the kit design and manufacture process.
In another first, 2026 will see the Club’s Men’s and Women’s Rapids teams debut two-separate kits for each format of white-ball cricket, with Rapids supporters able to enjoy individually tailored Men’s and Women’s cuts for the first time.
The reigning Metro Bank One Day Cup champions will be aiming to retain their title in an eye-catching dark kit, consisting of overlapping graffiti-style lettering in various shades of grey on a black shirt. In a nod to the club’s founding year, back in 1865, the shirt comprises over 1,865 different Worcestershire ‘tags’ that all relate back to the Rapids theme.
Arguably the boldest of this year’s matchwear range, the stylish Vitality Blast T20 shirt features a customised graphic design with an abstract cubist-style pattern in various shades of blue and white, complete with black detailing.
Inspired by Picasso, the shirt includes 12 different individual design elements that celebrate 12 years of Worcestershire Rapids. The iconic Worcester Cathedral is incorporated to the design on the lower section of the shirt, whilst the alterations to text font and the traditional club logo strike a balance between the Club’s rich history and an exciting new-era.
This year’s Rothesay County Championship shirt maintains a traditional aesthetic, with a thin black and green line surrounding the collar the standout feature on an off-white shirt that Brett D’Oliveira’s side will be wearing during their red-ball campaign this summer.
The new kits are now available to purchase via the club website, along with the new junior kits, which were confirmed to be going on sale at just £19.95, with any orders completed set to be dispatched from Friday 6th March 2026.
Worcestershire County Cricket Club’s Chief Revenue Officer, Joe Tromans, emphasised his pride in watching this year’s teamwear launch come together.
“This year’s teamwear launch is not only a landmark moment as it celebrates our new partnership with Macron and established relationship with Creative Partners, BEARD, but it is also a chance for us to champion everything that we as a Club stand for.
“It has highlighted our passion to innovate and stand out, in an industry where we cannot afford to stand still, this entire process has shown our commitment to moving forward and evolving both on and off the field.”
Andrea Palilla, Macron’s Country Manager for the UK and Ireland, explained just how important it was for the company to secure a long-term partnership within the English County game.
“We are extremely proud to be starting our partnership with Worcestershire County Cricket Club. This is a landmark deal for Macron, because it is our first venture into a new space in English County cricket, having already been involved in International Cricket.
“The missing piece was working with a club in England, so this milestone move to work with Worcestershire and expand our relationship over the coming years is an incredibly exciting opportunity.”
Dave Webb, BEARD’s Creative Director added, “This is without doubt the most exciting kit design and launch process we have been part of since our partnership with the club began over 12 years ago.
“At the heart of the kit launch is versatility and confidence, that has fuelled the wider thinking and concepts for 2026. There is a celebration of creativity that has been channelled into each specific match shirt, with each one telling it’s own unique story.”
