WORCESTERSHIRE TO HONOUR BARNARD AND MOEEN DURING PRESENTATION CEREMONY

Worcestershire are to honour three of their players who are leaving New Road at the end of the 2022 season.

Ed Barnard and Moeen Ali are to receive framed pictures depicting montages of their spells at New Road.

Worcestershire Cricket Steering Group Chairman, Paul Pridgeon, will make the presentations during a ceremony at the start of the lunch interval on day two (Tuesday) of the current home LV=Insurance County Championship match with Middlesex.

With Moeen currently skippering England in the T20 Series in Pakistan, Worcestershire Coach, Kadeer Ali, will receive the picture on behalf of his brother.

Tom Fell will also receive a montage at a later date.

Paul Pridgeon said: “We’d like to thank Ed and Moeen for their long service to Worcestershire and hope the pictures remind them of some happy memories at New Road, and we wish them all the best for the future.”

The presentations will take place in front of the Graeme Hick Pavilion, and all Members and Supporters are welcome to attend the ceremony at approximately 12.30pm.
