Worcestershire will begin their 2025 programme of warm-up matches on Thursday when they take on Loughborough University in a three-day match at Kidderminster.
The players have already been using Chester Road for part of their pre-season training since all of the squad joined forces after their respective winter programmes.
Some of them have remained training with Worcestershire while a group have been playing grade cricket abroad with considerable success.
New signing, spinner Fateh Singh, will be amongst the players available to feature at Kidderminster.
Two Worcestershire players will be in action against the County during the three days in batter Rehaan Edavalath and spinner Tom Hinley
Edavalath is studying at Loughborough for a chemical engineering degree and new signing Hinley a sports and exercise science degree.
Head Coach, Alan Richardson, said: “After a good training camp at Desert Springs, the boys are looking forward to some action and being out in the middle and hopefully the weather will be kind.”
Club Captain Brett D’Oliveira and the squad will then head to Cardiff to face Glamorgan in a three-day game getting underway on Monday, March 24, which will be played behind closed doors.
