Worcestershire Women’s Rapids will return to action on Bank Holiday Monday when they entertain Oxfordshire in a ECB Women’s County Championship 50 Over encounter (11am start)
The Rapids will be looking to continue the form which saw them defeat Warwickshire by 235 runs at Edgbaston in the opening game of the summer two weeks ago.
In that game Bryony Gilgrass scored a brilliant 151 – believed to be a record score by a Women’s Rapids player – and she is part of the squad on Monday.
Captain Chloe Hill Is again unavailable but batter Georgina Macey returns to the squad for the first time this summer.
She was the Rapids leading scorer in 2022 but missed the bulk of last season after giving birth.
