Worcestershire Women’s Rapids will be taking part in a mixture of T20 and 50 over cricket this summer in two ECB tournaments.
The Rapids will be striving for further success after lifting two trophies in the last two seasons.
They won the ECB Women’s County Championship T20 Group Two competition in 20222.
The Rapids followed that up last summer by triumphing in the West Midlands Regional Cup 50 over tournament.
They will again be participating in ECB T20 Group Two during 2024 and hoping for better fortunes with the weather after the entire 2023 group programme was washed out.
In addition, the Rapids will be competing in the ECB Women’s County Championship 50 Over Group Three.
The Rapids have been back in training this month before the action gets underway with two 50 over matches against Birmingham Bears and Oxfordshire.
They are scheduled to play eight T20 fixtures – scheduled in four double headers – and four 50 over matches in the group stages of the two ECB tournaments.
