Worcestershire Cricket Foundation is delighted to announce the launch of our partnership with Walkers & Talkers. Our first session commences on Monday, 18th November, where we’ll meet for a walk and a talk around the beautiful River Severn surrounding Worcestershire County Cricket Club.
This is a chance for you to connect with like-minded people, share your stories, and feel supported, all with complimentary teas, coffees and biscuits.
After the walk, it’s time to settle into your seats for a Q&A session with our inspirational guest speaker.
Who better to lead the charge for our first session than the esteemed President of Worcestershire CCC, Phil Neale
Former Imp Phil Neale is a renowned figure in both cricket and football, having served as a cricketer for Worcestershire from 1975-1992 and a footballer for Lincoln City from 1974-1985.
His talents in both sports came to the fore in the summer of 1976 when, after helping City to the Fourth Division Championship, he then scored more than 900 runs in his first full season of first-class cricket. Phil’s famously known for successfully juggling his careers in both sports, thanks in part to the guidance of legendary managers Colin Murphy and Graham Taylor.
Join us as the inaugural speaker for Worcestershire’s Walkers & Talkers shares his experiences and insights from his illustrious sporting career. Phil’s talk is bound to be a hit with both cricket enthusiasts and newcomers alike.
