Worcestershire new signing, Fateh Singh, has returned to England after a successful spell playing in Australia for Canterbury CC.
Singh, who has signed a three year contract at Visit Worcestershire New Road, picked up 18 wickets at a cost of just 16.11 runs apiece in the Eastern Cricket Association first grade competition.
He was consistently amongst the wickets during his five games which were a mixture of one and two day fixtures.
Singh’s best return was 5-108 from 34 overs against Edinburgh when he was given the new ball.
But the 20-year-old, who had a successful loan spell with Worcestershire in the Metro Bank Cup last summer, also produced several other excellent performances.
He had 4-14 versus Mont Albert, 4-26 against East Doncaster and 4-94 when facing North Balwyn Bulls.
His overall analysis was 85.3-21-290-18-16.11
Singh also made several useful contributions with the bat and, in addition to playing for Canterbury, he also trained with Sheffield Shield side, Victoria.
He made the move from Nottinghamshire to Worcestershire on a contract until the end of the 2027 season.
Singh will link up with Worcestershire when they begin training at Kidderminster on March 17.
