Worcestershire Seconds are taking a break from Championship action with a trio of T20 double headers during the fortnight.
Coach Alex Gidman’s side will take on Warwickshire at Edgbaston (July 16) – 11.30am and 3pm starts – and MCC Young Cricketers at Wolverhampton (July 18) next week.
They will then tackle Yorkshire at Marske on July 30 in the short format of the game.
Worcestershire will return to the Championship with a clash against the Tykes beginning on the following day at Harrogate.
They wind up their programme in the competition the following week against Derbyshire at Belper (August 6-8).
Worcestershire are currently lying in seventh spot in the Championship.
They are still seeking their first win but to date have accumulated more batting or bowling points than any other side.
Gidman has dug deep into his contacts book this summer with injuries, first team and international call-ups stretching the resources at his disposal.
