Worcestershire Women’s Rapids player, Sarah Glenn, has been included in the England Women’s squad of 14 players for the Vitality IT20 series against India later this month.
Glenn will be looking to add to her 34 IT2Os and she played in the three games against New Zealand at Edgbaston last month.
Since then the leg spinner has been playing for Trent Rockets in the Women’s Hundred.
Glenn also plays for Central Sparks who are also providing Amy Jones and Izzy Wong as part of the squad for the series which gets underway at the Seat Unique Riverside on Saturday (September 10).
The Sparks will take on Lightning at New Road in the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy on Friday (September 9).
England Women Head Coach Lisa Keightley, who will be taking charge of her last series before returning home to Australia, said: “I’m excited about finishing my time with this team with a really exciting series against India. They’re a great side and we’ll have to be at our best to win.”
