QUICKFIRE TURNAROUND FOR MOEEN BEFORE HE HEADS TO BANGLADESH

Worcestershire Rapids Vitality Blast captain, Moeen Ali, was back on English soil for barely THREE hours before flying out to play in the Bangladesh Premier League!

Moeen demonstrated the typically hectic schedule of the modern-day cricketer who has the opportunity to play all year round.

The all-rounder arrived back at Heathrow at 6am on Tuesday after England’s T20I Series in the West Indies, in which he skippered the side for the final three matches.

By around 9am, he was back airborne again for the lengthy flight to play for Comilla Victorians in the six-team competition.

Moeen is looking forward to his first taste of BPL cricket for nine years and will link up with a team that have made an impressive start in the tournament.

They won their opening three matches before losing to Minister Group Dhaka in Chattogram on Tuesday (February 1).

The first game Moeen will potentially be available for is the encounter with Chattogram Challengers in Mirpur on Thursday (February 3).

It is the first of two games in 24 hours, with the return with Minister Group Dhaka taking place at the same venue on Friday (February 4).
