Moeen Ali will make a quickfire return to action on Friday as the ‘Icon Player’ for Team Abu Dhabi in the T10 League which this year is taking place in Abu Dhabi.
The Worcestershire and England all-rounder will face Qalandars just five days after completing his short stint for Cape Town Blitz in the Mzansi Super League.
Moeen and his team-mates will then take on Northern Warriors on November 17 and Maratha Arabians on the following day in Group A fixtures.
County colleagues Pat Brown – fresh from his encouraging debut T20I Series for England – and Ross Whiteley will link up with Karnataka Tuskers for their trio of Group B fixtures.
They launch their campaign on November 16 versus Delhi Bulls followed by meetings with Bangla Tigers (November 17) and Deccan Gladiators (November 18).
The positions of the teams in the two groups determine who they will then face in the three games in the Super League.
The top two in the Super League will play-off on November 23 in the ‘Qualifier’ with the winners going through to the final.
The third and fourth placed teams will meet in ‘Eliminator One’.
The winners of that game will then meet the losers of the ‘Qualifier’ in ‘Eliminator Two’ with the victors sealing a spot in the final on November 24.
