Worcestershire Rapids Women are delighted to confirm the signing of bowler Hannah Hardwick on a season-long loan from Warwickshire Women.
The medium-fast bowler will join up with the squad immediately and will be available for selection for Thursday’s Metro Bank One-Day Cup fixture against Northants Steelbacks.
Hannah will be available across all-formats and will bolster the squad’s bowling depth, and re-joins the squad having represented the Rapids last season.
Speaking on the signing, Head of Women’s and Girls Cricket, Ed Wilson, said “Hannah will strengthen our squad for the remainder of the season and be a real asset to us.
“She is a Worcestershire Girl and it’s good to have her back to support her development as a professional Cricketer.”
The 21-year-old was drafted into The Hundred last season, when she was named as an injury replacement for Trent Rockets.
After suffering a five-wicket defeat last time the two sides met in the Vitality Blast, Hannah will be looking to turn fortunes around when Worcestershire head back to Wantage Road on Thursday in the Metro Bank One-Day Cup.
