With cricket returning to Visit Worcestershire New Road for the first time since the epic 50-over final victory at Trent Bridge last week, now is your chance to have your photograph with the trophy.
This Wednesday, on day one of our Rothesay County Championship home fixture against Sussex, the trophy will be displayed in the Beard Terrace, where there will be an opportunity for members and supporters to capture the historic moment.
Our club photographer will be in place with the trophy from 9:30am, with the photos set to be available on the club website shortly after.
CEO Ashley Giles emphasised the significance of the cup win to the club and labelled the trophy presentation as just rewards for the supporters who have stood by the club and must now enjoy their time to celebrate.
“Days like Saturday don’t come around very often, and after all this club have been through, there isn’t a more deserving club of lifting that trophy.
“Our supporters have earned this as much as anyone, with their unwavering loyalty, dedication and commitment over the last couple of years has really shone through, it is a trophy for the club.
“The pure elation on Saturday was striking. It provided an honest reminder how much this means to so many people.
“Offering them a chance to have a photo with the Metro Bank Trophy is a small way of saying thank you as well as reiterating that this success is shared by everyone at the club.
“Hopefully the photographs and memories stay with everyone for a very long time!”
