Worcestershire Seconds suffered more weather frustration as the second day of their Second Eleven Championship match with Glamorgan Seconds at Barnt Green was abandoned without a ball being bowled.
Torrential rain throughout Monday – the scheduled first day of the game – had saturated the outfield and also got underneath the covers.
Umpires Jeremy Lloyds and Anthony Harris called off play at 9.40am – 80 minutes before the scheduled start.
The two sides will hope for better luck on Wednesday – the third day of the four-day fixture.
