Worcestershire CCC wicket-keeper batsman Alex Milton continued his fine form with the bat when appearing for Port Talbot CC in the South Wales Premier Cricket League.
Milton faced up to his former club and current champions Cardiff CC and hit 93 in his side’s four wicket victory.
He struck 93 from 125 balls with 12 boundaries as Port Talbot reached a 220 target with three balls to spare.
Milton laid the foundations for Port Talbot’s win during an opening stand of 169 with Anthony Thomas who made 83.
Cardiff, for whom Milton enjoyed a record-breaking time last summer with more than 1,000 runs, had earlier made 219-9.
Milton’s efforts followed on from his 57 and 80 not out when skippering Cardiff MCCU in the drawn game with Durham MCCU at Usk.
He had also top-scored for the University with 38 from 36 balls in a T20 match against Gloucestershire at Cathedral School.
