Hinley tops charts for Seconds in ECB T20

Tom Hinley finished as Worcestershire Seconds leading wicket-taker in the ECB T20 competition ahead of his promotion to the senior squad for the Metro Bank One Day Cup.

The spinner produced a series of impressive performances while on trial for the Seconds and ended with eight wickets at an average of 20.88.

Hinley went onto take five wickets against Durham in the One Day Cup and also bowled impressively in the win over Derbyshire.

Harry Darley, also part of the One Day Cup squad, and skipper Jake Libby finished with seven wickets apiece.

Ed Pollock was the leading T20  run-getter with 184 including a century against Gloucestershire at Visit Worcestershire New Road.

Rob Jones (161) was the other main contributor with the bat.
