Former Worcestershire all-rounder, Gavin Haynes, will be the guest speaker when Worcestershire Cricket Society stage their Annual General Meeting in the Graeme Hick Pavilion next Tuesday (May 2).
The all-rounder played 100 first class and 121 List A matches during a first team career with Worcestershire which spanned from 1991 to 1999.
He scored 4173 first class and 2237 List A runs and in addition finished with 96 first class and 99 List A wickets.
His best year with the bat was in 1994 when he struck 1021 runs with two centuries and four fifties.
Haynes was forced to retire at the age of 30 with a knee injury and since then has enjoyed a successful coaching career.
Gavin and son Jack, who made his Worcestershire debut in 2019, became the 10th father and son team to play County Championship cricket for Worcestershire.
The AGM will get underway at 7pm.
