FISHER DEBUT AS SECONDS END 2019 CAMPAIGN AT KIDDERMINSTER

FISHER DEBUT AS SECONDS END 2019 CAMPAIGN AT KIDDERMINSTER

Worcestershire Seconds will bring down the curtain on the 2019 season when they take on Hampshire in a three-day match at Kidderminster beginning tomorrow (Monday).

Opening batsman Ollie Westbury will captain the Seconds in a fixture that in recent years has traditionally provided the finale to the campaign.

The Seconds will hand a debut to wicket-keeper batsman Harry Fisher.

He plays Minor Counties cricket for Dorset and for Lymington CC in the Southern Premier League.

Fisher also spent the winter playing in Stellenbosch.

Play will get underway on all three days at 10.30am now that the calendar has ticked over into September.

Paceman Dillon Pennington and batsman Tom Fell, part of the Rapids side which defeated Sussex Sharks to reach Vitality Blast finals day, are included in the 12 man squad.
