worcestershire first team coach alex gidman has announced a 13 strong squad for the final specsavers county championship encounter of the season against sussex at the 1st central county ground, hove, beginning tomorrow (10.30am).
all-rounders wayne parnell and brett d’oliveira return to the red ball squad after their recent viral illness and broken thumb respectively.
batsmen tom fell and josh dell are also added into the party who have travelled down to hove following the rapids excellent performances on finals day at edgbaston in the vitality blast.
club captain joe leach, whose wife is due to give birth imminently, and alex milton drop out from the side which went down to gloucestershire in last week’s championship encounter at New Road.
