Steve Rhodes has named a 13 strong squad as joint North Group winners Worcestershire Rapids take on Lancashire Lightning in this evening's NatWest T20 Blast clash at Emirates Old Trafford.
The Rapids will have to make one enforced change from the side beaten by Notts Outlawsin last weekend's televised clash at New Road.
Moeen Ali has returned to England duty after being made available for the two matches with Leicestershire Foxes – abandoned without a ball being bowled – and the Outaws.
All-rounder and Second Eleven captain George Rhodes returns to the squad after making his debut in the competition in the home encounter with Northamptonshire Steelbacks.
Keeper Ben Cox was the Rapids hero at Old Trafford last summer, hitting the penultimate ball from James Faulkner for a massive six.
He is aware of the importance of momentum as the Rapids look to return to the winning trail.
Cox said: "Cricket is one of those weird games where momentum is a huge thing.
"You get on a roll, you learn how to win matches, and there are things that go your way like luck, dropped catches.
"That momentum thing is crucial in this one-day format."
