ASSOCIATION LAUNCH FIFTY-FIFTY COMPETITION FOR 2020 CAMPAIGN

ASSOCIATION LAUNCH FIFTY-FIFTY COMPETITION FOR 2020 CAMPAIGN

worcestershire supporters’ association have launched their 2020 fifty-fifty competition – and it will have the same format as previous years.

the long-standing competition is one of the association’s key fund raisers – with all profits going to the ground improvement fund.

this helps the association to lend the kind of financial support which has funded many key projects at New Road over many decades.

in the last two years alone the association has provided £130,000 to aid the financing of the new chestnut marquee, the association club shop, a new kitchen under the ladies pavilion, the new nets system used by the players, an artificial wicket on the main playing area and a tractor and three mowers for the ground-staff.

last the fifty-fifty had a total of 633 members and the entrance fee will remain at £20 for next summer.

those participating go into the four draws – held in june, july, august, september – for which there will be 12 prizes each time ranging from £50 to £500.

long serving association committee member, dave kennedy, is again co-ordinating the competition.

cheques should be made out to wccsa and sent with application forms to dave kennedy c-o county ground, new road, worcester, wr2 4qq. application forms can be downloaded by clicking here.
