Henry Cullen and Joe Stanley were the heroes with the bat for Worcestershire Seconds who overcame a first innings deficit of 124 to defeat South Asian Cricket Association by two wickets on the third day at Stourbridge.
Cullen opened the batting and top-scored with 85 off 174 balls with 11 fours after the Seconds had been set a 231 target.
He shared in stands of 40 with Taylor Cornall, 46 with Nikhil Gorantla and 40 with Olly Cox to give the innings a promising start.
But then the Seconds slumped from 126-2 to 134-7 before Academy spinner Stanley joined Cullen for the match-winning stand.
They added 72 for the eighth wicket to take the total to 213 before Cullen was finally dismissed.
Stanley, who hit six fours in his unbeaten 44 from 74 balls, and triallist Adam Sylvester (10 not out) saw the Seconds over the finishing line to complete a fine comeback.
South Asian Cricket Association opted to bat after winning the toss but collapsed from 128-1 to 180-7 only to recover to 306 all out.
Ben Gibbon (16.2-5-70-3), Sylvester (15-3-56-2) and Reeve Evitts (9-1-39-2), Ethan Carrington (9-2-33-1), Stanley (10-0-44-1) and Taylor Cornall (9-0-55-1) were the wicket-takers.
The Seconds stood on 85-5 at the end of day one despite 37 from Cullen and on the second day an unbeaten 43 from Seth Essenhigh lifted their final total to 182.
He hit one six and seven fours in his 67-ball innings.
When South Asian Cricket Association batted for a second time, they were bowled out for 106 in just 41.2 overs.
Sylvester had bowled without luck in the Seconds Championship win over Gloucestershire last week but this time had his reward with 12-4-23-4 after sharing the new ball with Gibbon (11-4-32-2).
Carrington (t9.2-2-16-2) and Evitts (5-2-13-2) were also amongst the wickets with former Academy player Zen Malik top scoring with 40 for SACA.
