Worcestershire Academy (Under-18s) have included rookie pros Olly Cox and Rehaan Edavalath in their squad for a T20 double header at Stourport CC on Sunday (May 14).
Cox and Edavalath earned their first rookie professional contracts after a successful time with the Academy and showing promise when chosen for the Seconds.
Worcestershire will face Gloucestershire in an ECB County T20 Cup encounter at 11am and will face the same opposition in a T20 friendly beginning at 3pm.
Their opening ECB fixture against Cricket Wales and a T20 friendly against Northamptonshire at Sophia Gardens were both washed out as has much of their early season programme of matches.
Joe Stanley will captain the side with Seth Essenhigh and Luke Powell sharing wicket-keeping duties.
