Worcestershire’s pre-season fixture against Oxford UCCE will now be a one-day encounter in The Parks on Friday (March 24).
It was originally planned to stage a three-day match – as in 2022 – beginning on Wednesday, but that has had to be called off after the recent heavy rain.
Head Coach Alan Richardson confirmed that Friday’s match would be a 50-over contest.
Worcestershire are still hoping to go ahead with the two-day match against Northamptonshire at the County Ground, Northampton beginning on Thursday (March 23).
The improvement in the weather has meant the Worcestershire players will again be able to practice at Kidderminster today (Monday).
They were also able to get in two days net practice at Chester Road last week.
Worcestershire were originally scheduled to face Gloucestershire at Bristol in two T20s today, but the elements meant that game also had to be cancelled.
