HOSE MAKES SWITCH FROM AUSTRALIA TO PLAY INTERNATIONAL LEAGUE T20 IN UAE

Worcestershire batter Adam Hose has made a quick return to action after the end of his spell in the Big Bash League earlier this week.

Hose has flown from Australia to the UAE to play for Sharjah Warriors in the inaugural International League T20 (IT20).

He made his debut for the Warriors in Thursday’s encounter with Dubai Capitals in Sharjah.

But he was unable to have a knock as rain forced the game to be abandoned with Dubai Capitals struggling on 17-4 from five overs after being put into bat.

Hose enjoyed a successful time when competing in the BBL for the first time although his side, Adelaide Strikers, failed to qualify for the knockout stages.

The inaugural ILT20 is being played between six teams across three venues – Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi – from January 13 to February 12.

Dubai Capitals, Abu Dhabi Knight Riders, MI Emirates, Sharjah Warriors, Gulf Giants and Desert Vipers are the six franchises competing for the title.

Hose and the Warriors are next in action on Saturday against Abu Dhabi Knight Riders.
