New Worcestershire batter Adam Hose is in the top ten run-scorers in the 2022-2023 Big Bash League heading into a crucial final week of group fixtures for Adelaide Strikers.
Hose has totalled 270 runs – the ninth highest so far in the tournament – with a strike rate of 128.57, and he has been a consistent performer for the Strikers.
His efforts have helped the Strikers into the fourth spot in the eight-team table after 11 games.
But whether or not they qualify for the knockout stages is in the balance, and their remaining three matches are against the sides currently above them.
Hose and the Strikers travel to second-placed Sydney Sixers on Tuesday (January 17).
They entertain current leaders Perth Scorchers on January 20 and then visit Melbourne Renegades, occupying the third position, on January 24.
The top five go through to the latter part of the tournament, with the fourth and fifth-placed teams meeting in an Eliminator on January 27.
There are then Qualifier, Knockout and Challenger rounds to determine the sides in the final on February 4.
