SARAH GLENN RETURNS TO HOME COUNTY DERBYSHIRE

Worcestershire Women’s Rapids leg-spinner Sarah Glenn has returned to her home county Derbyshire following four years with the Club.

The 23-year-old joined Worcestershire for the 2018 season, and enjoyed tremendous success with the Club, including being a key part of the ECB T20 winning side in 2022.

Glenn made her England debut in December 2021, and she has since picked earned 46 further international caps across IT20 & ODI formats. Glenn moved to second in the ICC IT20 bowling rankings with a four-wicket haul against India in September 2022.

Sarah Glenn commented “I’ve loved my time with the Rapids and have been fortunate to have had the opportunity to represent this great Club and create so many great memories.

“I’ll always be really grateful to everyone at Worcestershire for their help and support with my development and helping me become the cricketer that I am today.

Women’s Rapids Coach Ryan D’Oliveira added “It’s disappointing to lose a player of Sarah’s quality but totally understand the move back to her home county.

“Sarah’s development during her four years at Worcestershire has been absolutely superb, and she has been a key part of our recent success.
