Worcestershire Academy were beaten in two T20 games with their Warwickshire counterparts at Barnt Green.
In Game One, Worcestershire were put into bat and totalled 149-4 with Jack Haynes scoring 60 off 48 balls with nine fours.
He and fellow opener Will Wade – 32 off 33 balls – put on 89 in 12.2 overs.
Zain Ul-Hassan was the other chief contributor with a quickfire 36 off 20 deliveries with one six and five fours.
Warwickshire reached their target with six wickets and three overs to spare thanks to skipper R Yates' 64 off 33 balls with two sixes and six fours.
The Worcestershire wicket-takers were Charlie Cross (4-0-35-2), Ul-Hassan (3-0-17-1) and Matt Davis (3-0-31-1).
In Game Two, Warwickshire again won the toss and this time chose to bat and scored 136-9.
Xavier Clarke returned the excellent figures of 4-1-22-3 and even managed the rarity in T20 cricket of being able to bowl a maiden.
Cross (4-0-18-2) again picked up two wickets and the other successful bowlers were Ul-Hassan (4-0-27-1) and Davis (3-0-17-1).
Jujhar Johal and Wade gave the Worcestershire reply a fine start with an opening stand of 85 in 11.2 overs.
Johal made 58 off 46 balls with one six and six fours and Wade a run-a-ball 28.
Number three Clarke made 23 off 20 deliveries before he was run out but Worcestershire finished five runs short on 131-6.
