INJURY UPDATE ON SEVERAL WORCESTERSHIRE PLAYERS

Josh Baker has suffered a stress reaction in lower back and, sadly, has been ruled out for the remainder of the season with treatment ongoing

Whilst fielding against Lancashire Kashif Ali broke his right thumb and it’s estimated his return will take up to six weeks

Charlie Morris is to undergo surgery to a knee injury and unfortunately won’t be able to feature again this season.

Ben Gibbon has a knee injury which requires ongoing assessment

Ed Barnard
has split his right index finger, meaning he can only play as a batter in the short term

Josh Tongue is progressing well from shoulder injury, and played Club cricket last weekend, and is due to play again this weekend.

The Club wishes all the players well in their recovery.
