Worcestershire Seconds Coach, Kadeer Ali, is still a force with the bat in league cricket at the age of 39.
Kadeer became the first player to pass 500 runs in the Birmingham and District Premier League this summer in the latest round of matches.
He hit 80 for Smethwick in their rain-affected drawn Premier Division One game with newly-promoted Halesowen – his fifth fifty-plus score this season.
One of the Worcestershire youngsters who has broken into the Seconds, all-rounder Reeve Evitts, picked up four wickets for Kenilworth Wardens in another drawn game.
Evitts finished with figures of 9-0-24-4, his best league figures of 2022, to take his wicket tally to 22 at 22.09.

Academy player, Ismail Mohammed, helped West Bromwich Dartmouth to a two-wicket win over Lichfield.
