Worcestershire Academy (Under-18s) are back in ECB County T20 Cup action on Sunday when they take on local rivals, Warwickshire, at Kind Edward’s School, Birmingham.
They will be looking for their first win in the competition after being beaten by Gloucestershire at Hawkesbury CC last weekend.
The meeting with the Bears gets underway at 10.30am and then Worcestershire will go straight into a T20 friendly versus Somerset starting at 1.30pm.
To ensure as much quality cricket as possible can be played, all six of the ECB group games will be accompanied on the same day by a non-competitive fixture.
The Academy defeated Cricket Wales in last Sunday’s friendly T20.
Worcestershire have named a 12 strong squad with Joe Stanley skippering the side and Luke Powell keeping wicket.
