Worcestershire 2nd XI have included Pakistan-born triallist, Kashif Ali, in their side for the three-day friendly with Leeds-Bradford UCCE at Kidderminster, which gets underway tomorrow (Tuesday).
Kashif scored a half-century against the Seconds when playing for the South Asian Cricket Academy in their two-day match at Stratford earlier in the month.
The 24-year-old has also been a member of the Bedfordshire side for National Counties cricket this summer and had previously played for Kent Seconds, MCC Young Cricketers and Nottinghamshire Seconds.
Pace bowler Adam Finch will be part of the team for the opening day before joining the first-team squad for the LV=Insurance County Championship match with Nottinghamshire at Trent Bridge.
Cameron Jones, who helped the Academy reach the final of the Graham Williamson Trophy yesterday with three wickets, will come into the side on the final day.
Opener Taylor Cornall will captain the side with Gareth Roderick again keeping wicket.
The Seconds are returning to action almost a fortnight after their impressive innings victory over Gloucestershire on the same ground in the Second Eleven Championship.
