Worcestershire 2nd XI century-maker Rehaan Edavalath is part of the Worcestershire Academy (Under-18) side for tomorrow’s Graham Williamson Trophy first-round encounter away to Halesowen.
Edalavath hit a superb 134 not out – his maiden Seconds hundred – during the drawn match with South Asian Cricket Academy at Stratford earlier this week.
Oli Cox, who scored his maiden Seconds half-century in the same game, is also part of the Academy line-up and Scotland Under-19 spinner Olly Davidson.
The 40 over contest gets underway at Seth Somers Park at 12.30pm.

Haris Ajaz celebrated his Worcestershire Academy (Under-18) debut with a four-wicket haul in an eight-wicket win over Warwickshire Academy via the Duckworth Lewis Method at Kidderminster.
The 16-year-old leg spinner, who joined the Worcestershire Pathway this winter, worked his way through the middle to lower order and finished with excellent figures of 4-29 from 6.4 overs.
Ben Balderson had done the initial damage with the new ball after Warwickshire had been put in to bat.
During his opening spell, he picked up three wickets and finished with 3-22 from seven overs as Worcestershire were bowled out for 152 in 38.4 overs.
Dickenson (8-0-36-1) was the other wicket-taker, and there were two run-outs.
When Worcestershire batted, Home made 21 with four fours, and then an unbroken stand of 43 between Myles Holland (21 not out) and Callum Bennett (27 not out) lifted the total to 82-2 from 25 overs.
At that stage, the heavens opened with Worcestershire three runs ahead of where they needed to be under the DLS Method.
