D’OLIVEIRA JOINS MAYOR OF WORCESTER TO PLANT NEW LIME TREES AT PITCHCROFT

Brett D’Oliveira joined mayor of Worcester Cllr Stephen Hodgson as part of the Queen’s Green Canopy in planting trees.

D’Oliveira joined the mayor and members of the community at Worcester Race Course to plant Lime Trees.

The initiative aims to plant new forests ahead of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

The morning of tree planting was done to celebrate Worcester becoming a QGC “Champion City”. It was launched to celebrate cities which place trees and woodland at the heart of their plans for green space.

D’Oliveira, who was confirmed as Club Captain in November last year, said: “It is an honour to have been invited to join the mayor of Worcester and students from the University of Worcester for the planting of trees in recognition of Her Majesty The Queen’s platinum jubilee.”
