Worcestershire Seconds claimed two more wickets on a severely curtailed second day in the Second Eleven Championship match with Yorkshire at Scarborough.
Paceman Ben Gibbon and spinner Josh Dickenson had one success apiece in the 25 overs play that were possible.
Yorkshire advanced from their overnight 341-2 from 86 overs to 440-4 before the weather intervened at 12.15pm.
Left armer Gibbon made the first breakthrough when James Wharton (38) was trapped lbw at 410-3 in the 102nd over and secured a bowling bonus point for Worcestershire.
Dickenson picked up another wicket in the next over when James Wharton (77) came down the wicket and was stumped.
Yorkshire had totalled 435-4 in the 110 overs permitted for bonus points, and only one more over was possible before rain halted play.
A torrential downpour resulted in umpires Chris Watts and Jason Pitcher calling off play for the day after an early lunch at 2pm.
Gibbon has figures of 22-4-71-1, Dickenson 11-1-44-1 and Zain Ul-Hassan 18-6-39-1, with the other wicket resulting from a run out yesterday.
