Worcestershire CCC batsman Josh Dell was ruled out of the LV=Insurance County Championship match through Middlesex at Lord’s through injury.
Dell had been earmarked to make his first Championship appearance of the season at the Home Of Cricket.
But he was ruled out after suffering a reaction to his recent thumb injury during pre-match nets.
Worcestershire wicket-keeper batsman Gareth Roderick came into the side for his sixth Championship appearance of the summer.
