Brett D’Oliveira made a sizeable impact with bat and ball for Worcestershire Rapids in the Royal London Cup.
The all-rounder scored 267 runs at an average of 44.50 and picked up seven wickets at 26.28 and with the best economy rate – 5.04 per over – of the regular members of the attack.
It continued the fine form he has shown in all competitions this summer.
D’Oliveira hit his maiden List A century in the superb win over Essex Eagles at Chelmsford.
Only Jack Haynes scored more runs than D’Oliveira, and the England Under-19 player ended with an impressive tally of 362 at an average of 51.71.
It was an excellent return from what was Haynes’ first taste of competitive List A cricket.
D’Oliveira registered his best bowling figures during the tournament – 3-8 – in that same match at Chelmsford.
Ed Barnard finished as leading wicket-taker with nine at an average of 29.44, while young spinner Josh Baker claimed seven victims.
