Updated Spectator Guidance from 19 July

Following on from the government announcement on Monday 12 July that restrictions around COVID-19 are to relax from Monday 19 July, we have updated our spectator guidance for those attending fixtures at New Road for the rest of the season.

From the first fixture post 19 July, our National Counties fixture against Herefordshire CCC, Members will no longer need to claim an eTicket to enter New Road. Members will now be able to attend fixtures with their 2021 Membership cards, and seating will return to being unallocated.

With no further capacity restrictions, tickets are now on general sale for all remaining 2021 fixtures and can be purchased online by visiting wccctickets.co.uk.

To gain entry to New Road on match days, all general admission spectators (Members & Ticket holders) will continue to enter the stadium via the Severn Bridge car park area and not through the main reception.

The Stowford bar, under The View, and an extended Diglis Bar will reopen for all fixtures, and there will be a range of food concessions in the picnic area to the rear of the Diglis Stand. The Ladies Pavilion will also be reopening, serving breakfast, hot drinks and cake.

Taking care of our staff and players at this time remains our number one priority. Alongside perspex screens being installed at all food and beverage outlets, the Graeme Hick Pavilion will remain available for Players and Match Officials only.

Following on from all 2021 Car Park Pass holders being refunded, we are pleased to offer spectators match day car parking for £10 a day for the remaining fixtures. The car park fee is payable upon entry to the Severn Bridge Car Park, and thanks to Kings School’s co-operation, we have secured additional car parking on their playing fields by the net area.

Temperature checks and NHS QR code scanning will remain in place at all entrance points, and extra toilets will stay on the ground for the remainder of the 2021 season. We also recommend that face coverings should be worn at the appropriate times in-line with government guidelines.

Once again, we would like to thank all Members and supporters for their understanding and support.
