‘LEGENDS DAY’ SUNDAY 8 AUGUST 2021

Three games are being staged at New Road on Sunday, August 8, including one featuring some of Worcestershire’s former players, wearing special ‘legends’ shirts featuring the name of every 2020 Member who donated their membership. Admission is free for all Worcestershire Exclusive 2020 members and a guest.

The England Physical Disability XI and the successful Worcestershire Women’s Rapids team will also be in action.

An exclusive plaque with all Exclusive 2020 Members names will also be unveiled in the Graeme Hick Pavilion as part of a fun-packed day to remember on and off the pitch.

A group of Star Wars Troopers will provide entertainment, autograph sessions will be held throughout the day, and there will be the opportunity to meet the Worcestershire CCC official mascot, Nile The Crocodile.

General admission tickets, with all proceeds going to St. Richards Hospice, are also available for what promises to be a day to remember, priced at £5 for adults and £1 for under-17s. Tickets can be purchased by clicking here.

Exclusive 2020 Members will receive a separate email with details on how to claim their free tickets.

David Hoskins, Worcestershire Head of Commercial and Operations, said: “Last year, the whole Club was eternally grateful for the vast majority of our members who were really loyal to us and donated their membership in becoming exclusive 2020 members.

“By choosing to do that included several benefits, including access to an exclusive digital package and all of their names will be on a plaque in the Graeme Hick Pavilion, which will be unveiled on the Legends Day.

“All exclusive 2020 members are also able to bring a guest on the day. It is a day to say thank you to all those members who chose to become 2020 members.”

The gates will open at 9am, and the match timetable is:

10am Worcestershire Women’s Rapids v Worcestershire Women’s Pears (T20)
1pm England Physical Disability XI v England Pan Mixed Disability XI (T20)
4pm Worcestershire Former Players v Worcestershire Clubs XI (T20).
