ASSOCIATION FIFTY-FIFTY DRAW IN AID OF GROUND IMPROVEMENT FUND TOPS 400 MEMBERS

Worcestershire Supporters’ Association’s annual Fifty-Fifty fund-raising competition has already attracted more than 400 members for 2021 with still a month to go until the first draw.

Co-ordinator Dave Kennedy reports that 402 people have so far paid the £20 membership fee which once again has been frozen for another season.

This already compares favourably with the 427 members in 2020 for a competition in which all profits go to the Ground Improvement Fund.

There are four draws from June through until September with the first of them taking place on Wednesday, June 16.

The first prize will be £500 and it is hoped to keep the quantity of prizes – there were eight in 2020 – at the same level although that will depend on the final number of participants.

Worcestershire CCC players and officials take part on an annual basis and two years ago Bowling Coach-Assistant Coach Alan Richardson won the £500 first prize.

Anyone wanting to re-join – or take part for the first time – have various options on how to pay.

They can send cheques – ‘WCCSA’ – to Dave Kennedy at 14 Pepper Street, Inkberrow, Worcestershire, WR7 4EJ, – or alternatively contact Dave to arrange a bank transfer via grandaddave1944@gmail.com – or phone 07746 833894.
