Worcestershire Women’s Rapids finished third in the ECB Women’s T20 West Midlands Group after the wash-out of their final two fixtures against Somerset at Halesowen CC yesterday (Sunday).
The torrential rain before and during the weekend meant the games were called off on Saturday evening.
It was the Rapids second double abandonment in the competition.
The matches with Staffordshire at Bromsgrove CC two weeks ago in the Rapids other home fixture suffered the same fate.
They ended with 12 points from their eight matches in the six-team table.
Worcestershire’s two victories came in their opening round of fixtures against Berkshire at Falkland CC in Newbury.
Somerset topped the group with 22 points with Warwickshire, the only side to defeat the Rapids, runners-up on 20.
