LOGAN PART OF SECONDS SQUAD FOR TRIP TO TAUNTON VALE

Worcestershire Seconds are back in Second Eleven Championship action today (Monday) when they take on Somerset Seconds at Taunton Vale.

The Seconds will be looking to bounce back from last week’s closely fought defeat against Gloucestershire at Kidderminster.

Included in the 13 strong squad named by Second Eleven Coach Kadeer Ali is former Yorkshire slow left-arm spinner, James Logan.

The 23-year-old made his first-class debut for the Tykes against Worcestershire at New Road in 2018.

Worcestershire gave a trial to another spinner in ex Gloucestershire player George Drissell against his former county at Kidderminster.

Josh Tongue will continue his comeback from injury, and he bowled some testing spells against Gloucestershire.

Ross Whiteley will again captain the side with Alex Milton keeping wicket.
