A host of Worcestershire players past and present will be bidding for glory in the ICC Champions Trophy which gets underway today.
Three current New Road players in Moeen Ali, John Hastings and Mitchell Santner will be part of the action for England, Australia and New Zealand respectively.
And the ex Worcestershire trio of Steve Smith, Shakib Al Hasan and Mitchell McClenaghan will be performing for Australia, Bangladesh and New Zealand.
All of the sextet will be performing in Group A with Moeen and England launching their campaign against Shakib and Bangladesh at The Oval today.
Moeen will go into the competition on the back of two impressive performances against South Africa before being rested for the third game with a slight groin niggle.
Hastings and Smith launch Australia's programme against Santer and McClenaghan's Black Caps tomorrow at Edgbaston.
Santner will link up with Worcestershire for a second spell in the NatWest T20 Blast at the conclusion of the Champions Trophy.
The semi-finals are scheduled to take place on June 14-15 at Edgbaston and Cardiff respectively with the final on June 18 at The Oval.
