COUNTY PARTNERS AND SPONSORS PRAISED FOR “FANTASTIC LOYALTY AND SUPPORT”

Worcestershire County Cricket Club have thanked their raft of sponsors and partners for their “fantastic support” during a challenging 12 months in the wake of COVID-19.

David Hoskins, Head of Commercial and Operations, praised the “outstanding loyalty and commitment” shown by companies and businesses before and during the pandemic.

And the same sort of sentiments have been echoed by many of our partners as they look forward to maintaining their links at New Road during what promises to be an exciting 2021.

David said: “We all know how big a challenge has been placed on all walks of life including many businesses and companies locally and worldwide since the outbreak of COVID-19.

“We have faced up to the same challenges ourselves – off and also on the pitch with a truncated 2020 season.

“But what has been evident throughout has been the outstanding loyalty, commitment and support of our partners and sponsors.

“We thank everyone for this and hope these partnerships will mutually continue to the benefit of our partners and ourselves.”

Worcestershire  have received messages of support from many of our partners.

Richard Lane, Group Managing Director at EBC Group, said: “EBC Group were proud to extend our partnership for Worcestershire County Cricket Club as their official IT partner and shirt collar sponsor this year.

“We have been involved with the club for a number of years and 2020 has certainly been one of the most challenging the club has faced.

“We were pleased that we were able to support the club with new IT services that enabled their staff to continue operating throughout the pandemic.

“We look forward to our continued partnership in 2021, which will hopefully see a return to supporters being able to attend New Road.”

Richard Cox, Managing Director of Langley Business Systems, Worcestershire’s official EPOS & Vitality Blast Shirt Sleeve sponsor, said:  “We are proud to sponsor Worcestershire County Cricket Club and supporting the club with its growth and success.

“We look forward to cheering the team on and hope to see them continue to thrive in 2021. We wish them the best of luck for the next season.”

Greene King IPA are the County’s official Pouring Partner, and Will Hemmings, Greene King Brewing and Brands Marketing Director, said: “It’s brilliant to continue this partnership with Worcestershire County Cricket Club which now approaches nine years working alongside each other.

“Greene King IPA is a long term supporter of sports clubs throughout the UK, and this extension underlines our commitment to continue to be recognised as the beer of choice for sports fans.

“We will continue to work closely with Worcestershire over the coming months to explore new opportunities to strengthen this partnership even further and look forward to continuing to improve the matchday experience for fans when they return to New Road.”

Mike Lapac, Director of Universal Display, Worcestershire’s Official Signage Partner, said: “We are proud of our partnership with Worcestershire and look forward to the 2021 season.

“It is an iconic club with an iconic ground and we believe our joining together will continue to be of mutual benefit to both parties.”
